How we can help
We recognize that each individual is unique, and a one-size-fits-all approach can waste valuable time on goals that are not important to the individual. Therefore, we tailor our treatment plans to the distinct needs of the person receiving our services, and our plans are consistently updated based on progress and client feedback.
Applied Behavior Analysis Assessments
This initial functional behavior assessment is conducted to determine if a client would benefit from applied behavior analysis (ABA) services. The assessment is conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and includes meeting directly with the client and caregivers, if applicable. During these face-to-face meetings, information will be gathered on the client’s background and current goal areas that are important to the client and family, as well as administering assessments and discussing findings and recommendations. The assessment also includes non-face-to-face tasks including analyzing past data, scoring and interpreting the assessment, preparing the treatment plan (if ABA is recommended), and preparing the report based on all assessment tasks.
1:1 ABA Services
One-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) services provided face-to-face with clients to implement the treatment plan developed during the initial assessment and all subsequent updated treatment plans. These services are provided in the most appropriate, natural environment(s) of the client and in collaboration with the client, caregivers, other service providers (SLP, OT, PT, etc), and other stakeholders.
Caregiver consultation and training is provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) face-to-face with caregivers to work on the goals that are significant to them. The focus of each consultation or training will depend on the caregiver needs but some topics include functional communication, teaching play skills, facilitating conversations, teaching daily living skills, implementing reinforcement, and implementing strategies to reduce dangerous behaviors and replace them with behaviors that provide the same reinforcement.
Fieldwork Supervision and BCBA Mentorship
Fieldwork supervision is offered in individual and group format for candidates seeking board certification as behavior analysts or assistant behavior analysts. BCBA mentorship is offered for clinicians who would like to enhance their clinical skills.
